Which test centres have the lowest pass rates?

According to recent figures, driving test pass rates remain low across the UK, with some test centres seeing fewer than one in three learners pass on their first attempt. This not only highlights the challenges many candidates face but also contributes to the ongoing backlog, as unsuccessful learners are required to rebook and rejoin an already strained system.

But which UK test centres have the overall lowest first-time pass rates?

To find out, car insurance experts at MoneySuperMarket analysed DVSA data on first-time pass rates. This forms part of a wider study, which also identified the UK cities with the highest driving test demand by analysing search volumes for a range of terms related to booking and taking a test, including “driving test near me,” “book driving test,” and “driving test wait time.”
